1. Who We Are
Nuel Foundation ("we," "us," "our") is a nonprofit organization providing workforce development, entrepreneurship support, community outreach, and creative engagement programs. This policy explains how we handle information collected through www.thenuelfoundation.org and our related forms and services.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

-
Contact Form: name, email address, and message content.
-
Donations: payment information processed securely by our third-party payment processor, Stripe — we do not store your card details ourselves.
-
Photos and video: images or footage captured at trainings, graduations, and community events, which may be used on our website, social media, and marketing materials.
3. How We Use Your Information
-
To respond to inquiries and process training or partnership applications
-
To connect interested applicants with the appropriate workforce funding organization (see Section 4)
-
To process donations and issue donation receipts
-
To communicate program updates, events, and opportunities
-
To improve our programs and website
4. Sharing With Workforce Funding Organizations
If you indicate on the Training Interest Form that you'd like to explore funding, we may share the information you provide with the appropriate workforce organization (such as the Texas Workforce Commission or your local Workforce Solutions board) solely to begin the funding eligibility process. Submitting this information does not guarantee funding — final eligibility determinations are made by that organization, not Nuel Foundation. See our Training Funding Options page for details.
5. Other Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
-
Service providers who help us operate our website, process donations (Stripe), and manage forms — bound to use your data only to provide those services
-
Employer or apprenticeship partners, only with your consent, if you're interested in a specific job placement opportunity
-
Government agencies or workforce boards, where required for funding eligibility or legal compliance
6. Cookies & Website Data
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies for basic functionality and to understand how visitors use the site. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including ongoing program participation, funding-eligibility recordkeeping, and legal or grant-reporting obligations, after which it is securely deleted or anonymized.
8. Your Choices
You may request to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or opt out of non-essential communications, by contacting us at info@thenuelfoundation.org.
9. Children's Privacy
Our general programs are directed at adults. Any youth program that collects information from minors does so with parent or guardian consent, collected separately from this website.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, including relying on PCI-compliant payment processing through Stripe for all donations. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
